OUR COMMITMENT

Tam Quang Minh’s factory is located in Xuan Phu, Da Nang. We see the company’s growth as closely tied to the jobs and livelihoods of the local community.

Tam Quang Minh was founded in 2011. Its head office is in An Khe Ward and its wood furniture factory is on National Road 1A, Moc Bai Village, Xuan Phu Commune, Da Nang City. The company’s mission, set out in the Code of Conduct issued in 2016, is to keep improving the quality of its products and services, bring prosperity to shareholders, partners and employees, and contribute positively to the development of the community.

The four commitments below are how we carry out that mission with the residents, workers and businesses around our factory.

Local jobs

We give priority to hiring and training people from the area around the factory. Most positions at the Xuan Phu factory are for skilled and production workers: assembly, panel cutting, edge banding, CNC operation, PU finishing and logistics. People without prior trade experience can start as apprentices and are coached in the workshop. All open positions, job descriptions and salaries are published on our Careers page; candidates apply online, receive a response within 48 hours and are not asked for identity documents when applying. Employees sign an employment contract and are enrolled in social insurance as required by law.

Local supply chain

We give priority to suppliers and subcontractors in Da Nang and Central Vietnam when they meet our quality, schedule and price requirements. Purchases above the set threshold go through competitive quotations from at least three suppliers, with an open comparison and a recorded reason for the choice, so local businesses can compete on equal terms. The company honours its contracts with suppliers, builds relationships of trust and mutual benefit, and keeps partners’ information and know-how confidential. Wood is sourced preferably from supplies with clear and sustainable origins.

Our surroundings

We control noise, dust and waste so that they do not affect nearby homes. The company’s environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001. The factory’s published working hours are Monday to Saturday, 7:30–17:00, closed on Sunday. For fire safety, the factory has a fire-fighting and rescue plan, a fire-safety team and an automatic fire alarm system; it carries out regular self-inspections, is inspected by the fire police and holds compulsory fire and explosion insurance. Workshop rules prohibit smoking and bringing flammable or explosive items into the building.

Supporting the community

We aim to support community activities and workers facing hardship. The company’s code of conduct calls on staff to take part in humanitarian activities, sponsorship and helping people in difficulty; the company encourages and recognises individuals and teams for charitable work and community initiatives. For its own workforce, the company holds a year-end review, gives awards and presents Tet gifts to employees. Specific programmes with the local community are published on our News & Events page.
